Cookies Policy
How and why we use cookies on this site, and the choices available to you
This page explains how ExpertEdge uses cookies on our website, and what choices you have over them.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device when you visit. They help the site recognise your device and store information about your session or your choices.
What cookies we use
We keep cookies to a minimum and only use two kinds.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are session cookies set by our authentication provider when you sign in to the learning platform. They keep you signed in and let the platform work. The site cannot deliver your account without them, so they are always on and do not need your consent.
Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, so we can improve it. This sets a _ga cookie and one or more _ga_* cookies. We only set these after you give consent, and never before.
We do not use cookies to remember language or region preferences, and we do not embed third-party content that drops its own advertising or social media cookies.
Managing your choices
Depending on where you are, a consent banner may ask whether you accept or reject analytics cookies. We respect Google Consent Mode v2, so Google Analytics stays switched off until you accept.
You can change your mind at any time. Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer to reopen your choices and withdraw consent. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings, though that does not stop the banner from asking again on your next visit.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy if our use of cookies changes or if regulations are updated. When we do, we will revise the date below.
